Castle Rock is part of Colorado's Front Range Urban Corridor.  It is named after the prominent castle tower-shaped butte near the center of town. The community offers plenty to see and do; downtown festivals, unique shops and restaurants, Castle Rock Museum, 20 parks and over 50 miles of public trails, biking and the Factory Outlet, just to name a few.  The town is situated, with quick access to both open spaces and Downtown Denver. Homes prices range from $110,000 to $1.3 million. Nearby communities include Castle Pines North, Lone Tree, Parker, Highlands Ranch, Larkspur, Franktown and Sedalia. Family Circlemagazine ranked Castle Rock No. 1 in the nation in its list of the “10 Best Towns for Families," August 2010.
